Help Shape the future of Arts and Culture in Maribyrnong

Maribyrnong has a vibrant arts and creative industries sector. It is home to a large artist population and a diverse array of arts organisations and creative sector businesses. Our community is eager to engage with the arts.

Whether it's attending a festival, visiting a gallery, enjoying street art or a theatre performance, or celebrating heritage through stories, arts and culture plays a big part in our lives.

Council’s Arts and Culture Strategy 2018-2023 has guided our investment and priorities for arts and cultural activities over the past five years. Building on successes and lessons learnt, we're starting to develop a new Arts, Culture, and Creativity Strategy. This will align with community needs, support local arts, culture, and creative practices, and enhance the overall cultural landscape of our City.

We invite residents to share their thoughts about the importance of arts, culture, and creativity to support the development of a new strategy.

Tell us about your favourite arts experiences in the west below. Do you go to the movies, see live music, or borrow a book from your local library? What impact does arts, culture, and creativity have on your day-to-day life? Does it help you connect to new people or ideas? Does it provide inspiration?

Share your feedback by midnight Sunday 15 September 2024.
