Council is seeking your feedback on a draft plan to expand Berbert Park in Footscray. The expansion is the second stage of an earlier project at the former Southampton Street depot site developed in 2015 following community consultation.

At that time it was always intended to expand the space in the future, utilising carpark area to the north, to provide a greater variety of park facilities for the local community.

We have now developed a draft plan for the expansion of the space. It aims to create a flexible, inviting space to cater to a variety of uses and activities to enhance access to open space for the local community. It will utilise the existing surface to provide for informal recreation, relaxation and socialising.
