Consultation has concluded

Ensuring our roads and road networks are safe, accessible and meet the needs of the community is a priority for Council. To assist this, each year we undertake a Local Area Traffic Management (LATM) Study to understand road safety issues and concerns in a targeted area.

This year we are undertaking an LATM Study in Braybrook (south).

The result of the LATM Study is a Traffic Management Plan (TMP) which outlines the road safety concerns identified during the collection of raw data and from resident feedback during the Study, and highlights the actions Council intends to take to mitigate the risks to improve road safety and accessibility.

We want to hear from you

Community participation is key to identifying the current traffic condition and issues in the local area – and to ensure our TMP reflects the needs of the local community.

We have now developed a draft TMP, and we want to hear from you. To have your say, please download a copy of the Draft Braybrook (south) TMP from the Document Library, and tell us your thoughts via the questionnaire below. You can also download a PDF copy of the questionnaire and draft TMP from the Document Library and email us your responses.

We are also hosting community conversations - a way for you to come and speak to us in your neighbourhood and let us know your thoughts. We will be popping up at the below locations:

Where: Braybrook Park’s ‘Aeroplane Park’, 107 Churchill Avenue, Braybrook 3019

When: 10am – 12pm, Wednesday 3 February and 10am – 12pm, Saturday 6 February

Where: Central West Shopping Centre, Ashley St, Braybrook

When: 12 - 2pm, Sunday 28 February

Note: the community conversation scheduled for Saturday 13 February at Central West Shopping Centre has been cancelled due to recent changes to COVID-19 restrictions.

Feedback closes Sunday 28 February 2021.
