Consultation has concluded
Council has been contacted by residents concerned with on street parking adversely impacting road safety on the narrow section of Hillside Crescent, from Van Ness Avenue to Como Parade.
Following investigations by council officers, it is proposed to install marked parking bays and bypass bays for this section of the road, similar to those in Anderson Street Yarraville as shown below.
A layout plan for Hillside Cresent is included in the questionnaire below.
Following our investigation, the following parking changes are proposed for Hillside Crescent, between Como Parade and Van Ness Avenue.
Option 1: Introduction of marked parking bays and bypass bays
Option 2: No change
This survey will close 5pm Friday 18 May 2018.
Responses will only be considered from residents and property owners in Hillside Cresent. Only one response per household will be accepted.

Implementation of any change requires at least 40% survey participation and the support of at least 60% of respondents.
Proposed changes, if any, are subject to the collating of results follow up correspondence, batching of works, sign ordering, manufacture and installation, subject to our contractor’s schedule. Please allow for 6-8 weeks from the due date of this letter for implementation.
