Consultation has concluded
Consultation for this project has now closed. Thank you to everyone who participated. Results are now being collated for consideration of Council and the project consultants. Please watch this page for more in the near future.
Council has now completed the first stage of the Local Area Traffic Management (LATM) Study which aims to improve traffic congestion and road safety in the western end of Footscray.
Stage 1
Community feedback received during Stage 1 of the LATM Study identified the following as the main concerns for locals and visitors to the area:
Draft LATM Plan
The draft LATM Plan is informed by community feedback and is aimed at improving safety, access and amenity, and encouraging walking and cycling. It covers a range of traffic management treatments, pedestrian improvements and bicycle facilities.
