Consultation has concluded
Council is putting together a Maribyrnong Reconciliation Action Plan Advisory Committee (MRAPAC) to provide guidance and support to the Council on issues and barriers that affect the reconciliation process.
Working alongside local leaders, a Councillor and key Council staff, you will assist in providing advice to Council on the development and implementation of strategies that will deliver positive outcomes aligned to the Council Plan, and the Reconciliation Action Plan.
The committee provides the opportunity to comment on the progress of implementing specific strategies that encourage inclusive involvement of Indigenous people in Council services, programs and activities, as well as the forum to raise advocacy issues directly to a Councillor and Council staff.
