Our spending for 2026/27

The Annual Budget 2026/27 was endorsed at the June 2026 Council meeting.

The Budget commits $245.28 million to support services and initiatives over the next financial year.

The Budget is premised on a 2.75% increase in total rates revenue, in line with the rates cap allowed by the State Government.

What we're funding

Overview

Our total planned budget for the 2026/27 financial year is $245.28 million.

Of this, $91.45 million is proposed for capital works – the physical things we build, buy, or upgrade. It does not include day‑to‑day running costs like staff, services, or maintenance, which are in the remainder of the Proposed Budget.
